Fish Bladder to reduce effect of change in pressure on fish passing through the turbines

A new project on development of hydroelectric turbines with bladder like features to reduce the  'change in pressure' while shoal of fish passes through the turbines in hydro-electric plants is conducted in Pacific Northwest National Laboratory with the funds provided by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.The scientists have deviced a bladder which shrinks under rising pressure and expand when the pressure is decreased just like fish bladder.
